Normalize patients discussing their care in public so they (we) understand what standard care looks and feels like.
I appreciate how Pro Publica reported the growth in reports following a media mention of a patient speaking out. It’s too easy to brush something off as “normal” when it shouldn’t be.
Don’t they have nurses or medical assistants in the room to assist and witness these exams? It should
be a requirement. Refusing to do that should put them under suspicion.
