People are out here “reclaiming” ableist language that is *not* part of their oppression. Just bc someone legitimately traumatized you by comparing you to a marginalized group you don’t belong to doesn’t mean you have any say in how they deal with their oppression

i feel like this especially applies to the R slur and autistic/adhd people. like no, the fact that you were called r*tard doesn't meant you can reclaim it. literally everyone was in the 2000s.
