right. if it were reversed, an authoritarian GOP president would just say, “this court is out of touch with the will of the people, and nobody elected them, but the US people elected me to solve problems for this country, and that’s what i’m going to do” and would be loved for it

but a Democratic president will say, “well, this is our system of checks and balances, so what are you going to do, huh?” because this isn’t really a priority for the Democratic Party: getting more votes is their priority
