A little over a week ago I posted a music video I made to twitter. It was retweeted by surasshu, 1/2 of the duo who wrote the music for Steven Universe, who has over 25,000 followers and gave it absolutely glowing praise. That video is sitting at less than 300 views right now.

I'm an irony-poisoned elder millennial who grew up thinking haughty gen X apathy was the coolest thing in the world, for me to complain about the reception of my art all but causes my physical pain. But the reality of that situation gut-checks like a mathematical impossibility.
