Just so we're clear: Nintendo can't afford the loss of reputation use of Generative AI will cause. They've always been viciously protective of their IP and if they suddenly were cool with stolen content they'd open themselves up to lawsuits for all of the ©️ strikes they've issued, incl. this year.

While i am largely a Nintendo console enjoyer that is for VERY specific personal reasons. I hold no love for the company. Like any brand run by old men, I have a lot of beef with them, actually. There's a lot to complain about. But I also know they can't afford to fall back to only printing Hanafuda
