Birkenstocks are insanely comfortable, 10/10. If you're looking for something waterproof and less expensive, Chacos have good arch support.

I was skeptical when my wife bought me my first pair of Birks in 1998. I broke them in walking around Sydney. They’ve been resoled numerous times and I’m still wearing them.
