The map shows the temperature change that would be expected, between the average of the 20 years before the event versus the average over the 20 years after the event. What that would exactly mean for weather, especially weather extremes, is hard to fathom. But it would very likely be ugly.

Unfortunately, I (a layperson) can only find one graphic from CMIP5 with already 3 impressive scenarios. CMIP6 is not accessible to me. Is there something like that in 5 there? I assume your picture only shows a section.

Yet another increasing risk. Hard to keep track. I did note the irony that the UK would seem the hardest hit by this change in western Europe. A guess a fitting tribute to the mother of the industrial revolution.
