Part of the reason the symptoms can be so similar is that if you over-water a plant, it causes the roots to rot and die, which can cause similar problems to under-watering a plant and causing the roots to not take up enough water and nutrients. Different root (lol) cause but very similar problem.

This is the same problem with searching for any health symptom. I don’t even do it anymore because literally *everything* can be a symptom of cancer
