Started a new sketchbook habit! I pick an art book and sketch only with pen.
I thought I’d hate it, but honestly, I love it?? Who is she?!
Referencing art books helps me get started faster. Pen forces to make more confident lines and adapt to my mistakes. #kidlitart

I used the Dungeon Meshi art book and Heikala’s Rakugaki book for both of these. Love both of them!

yeah drawing with pen feels more like… i dunno, sports or improv. like if a drawing turns out real bad, thats ok, there’s always another page. i learn more from that than from erasers.
