To my mind it’s Gorsuch dogmatically and Kavanaugh practically. Gorsuch believes we should make the legal system a form of historical reenactment and Kavanaugh believes we should make the legal system whatever keeps Republicans in office. Gorsuch lives in fantasy land, Kavanaugh is just craven.
