In the north it’s more subtle. Like the only non-Latino worker in Taco Bell being the manager. To the idea that it is more or less culturally acceptable and/or tied to patriotism. For the victims it was never cool, they just didn’t have agency to address it. As long as it’s systemic it will 3/
