Oh totally. My dad was a pro-business Republican with firm liberal cultural views (he’s from suburban Canton/Akron so checks out), but 2016 made him just realize he’s actually a left-of-center Democrat who probably should’ve just voted for Obama twice

Additionally, he and my mom lived outside Philly in the 80s when Biden was a senator and Rendell was Philly’s DA and they love both of them. So they are certainly the former Republicans who’ll vote for Biden this year—and they actually vote every election!
