One of my grandparents was an Irish immigrant and Ireland has a right of return law so I would be eligible for citizenship there if I chose. I’m not far from retirement so it’s an option, but then I think “why should I let these motherfuckers win?” but I know it’s a scary situation for some people.

Would that it were that easy. I looked into it, and it turns out there were a lot of things your parents would have to have done in order to be eligible.
