Kessler's Syndrome, but yes, you're very much onto something and we should be very concerned. The GOOD news is, if the junk de-orbits, it is doing the opposite of causing Kessler's Syndrome, as it's not staying in orbit. We absolutely NEED a global body to help prevent Kessler Syndrome, though.

Thank you, and yes, if stuff is moving out of its safe orbit. OP corrected at some point saying it was just launch junk.
