How has there not been more uproar or effort to reel in the Supreme Court for decades? 9 unelected people deciding the future of millions on, essentially, a whim.

Because the Constitution didn't properly elaborate on the foundational principles of the Judiciary as a branch that was intended to prevent the Legislative from being an oligarchy and the Executive from being an autocrat. Because a bunch of lawyers trusted that judges wouldn't EVER become partisans.
