Oh yeah, activist burnout is real. I'm just saying that online places like this can reinforce such a low bar for humanity.

Yeah for sure, they're like filters for human interaction; awful lot of gunk gums up on one side, and there are some that really enjoy rolling around in it. Places like this, at least for me, offer a look at the otherside of the filter, even if only a glimpse, and a clearer view of what we can be.
