Snopes posted a couple days ago that Trump did not say after the Charlottesville riots that there were "very fine people on both sides." I fucking heard him say it and it was such an obvious and clumsy attempt to equivocate between actual nazis and antifascists.

That article is based on a lie itself - Trump saying that some of the people there were protesting the taking down of the Lee statue, when that didn't happen. It also leaves out the fact that he had to make three different statements, because the first was so bad.
