Isn't this illegal retaliation against labor? They are posing an moral and ethical objection to the manner in which their labor is being used.

The preferred response in these cases, is the workers should be ejected from campus for the duration of their protest. Dock their pay as if it were a strike, because it is. They are free to protest on the sidewalk in the mean time.
