You know how when you unsubscribe from a mailing list, you can click "this is spam and should be reported?" Anyone know how many times it needs to be reported before it's shut down? For example if a verified hate group signed you up, you figured out how they harvest emails, and have an evil plan?

Depends on the newsletter service but after unsubscribing you should also go back to the email itself and report it as spam with your email service. That can help cause "problems" in a few ways like getting it auto dumped into spam for other people or even blocked at the ISP level.
