Ah dang. As someone with chronic health issues and medical trauma, I definitely understand how not having your reality be even listened to really sucks.

It's an exasperating quality. I have to debate my doctor into everything but the reason I stick it out with him is because he *does* in fact listen eventually. He's not dismissive, he's just very entrenched. It's better than other experiences where I have been dismissed because I'm too functional
