There are hundreds of examples, but take Chevron v. NRDC itself, for example (which at the time, agency deference = conservative, bc it was Reagan weakening environmental laws)—does "major stationary sources" mean a smokestack, or an agency-drawn geographic bubble containing multiple smokestacks?

Under Chevron, the Court essentially said both interpretations are reasonable and we'll defer to how the agency wants to read it Under Skidmore, a court would listen to the agency's argument, but then it would issue a judicial opinion on what the court thinks "major stationary sources" means
