Whenever a college friend had to explain something they couldn't explain (e.g. “why is he in a bad mood” or “wonder why this call dropped”) he'd just say “it’s the fukken’ rays, man!” Just generic rays. Could be cosmic rays from space, or gamma rays from a microwave or even a ray gun. Fukken rays!
