Now I've read key portions of the ruling I see they've gone *way* overboard, banning even the discussion of official acts or their motivations, from being used in cases where he's not immune. That is fucking nuts and seems designed to undermine Trump's prosecution here.

Absolutely nuts. To disallow evidence of intent in a criminal trial and set an absurdly high burden for proving criminal acts are done in a "personal" capacity is to confer de facto, near total immunity to a lawless president.
