Chips has been a mercenary for a while, and joins with Seven and Etta to get out of the nowhere town he got left in when his last contract ended. Chips is an Ishtar worshipper and has a complicated relationship with his sexuality because he has never had a hume lover, and feels bad for it.

He is a short and slender man and was often rejected by women growing up. He has a romantic relationship with his first Aion, a Frostmay called Shiver. But since she can't stay for very long away from cold environments, their relationship is limited. Plus the Master Servant dynamic.
