The fact that a pro-Palestinian independent halved Starmer's majority and ran him to second place should cause him to reflect. However, I suspect he'll double down on flags, borders and elusive growth, without addressing ethics, an obstacle to growth (Brexit) or an enabler (green action at scale).

There's a Labour faithful I listen to who is leaning hard into pro Palestine people either being delusional or nasty. He's a good indicator of party mood for the last few years. I'm gutted more didn't turn out to hammer the point. I'm not expecting the HR lawyer to value ethics. Mad world
