Reform is also runner up in a wide swathe of seats across England - and Wales. Its performance in Scotland was poorer, but still surprising in areas. The performative disruption to be caused by Farage and Co, like in Strasbourg, is a problem for at least the next two Parliaments.

'Poorer' yes compared to England & Wales, but in many Scottish seats that Labour won back from the SNP, Reform was in third place. They came out of nowhere and displaced the Tories (who apparently lost their deposit in every Glasgow seat).
