In the UK, the Odeon chain has a sign up where you pay £15-£18 a month and can go as often as you like. It's a game changer for me. There are also reduced price screenings if you're not bothered about opening weekend.

I actually think those tickets are partially to blame because I can't imagine people are paying a tenner to sit and scroll their phone

Kage and I used to have those, but ended up getting refunded because every time we went people would be talking and waving their phones around and they never did screen checks or chucked out disruptive people. Once the screen broke and it took 20min to find anyone to report it to.
