Now the Louise Michel has been detained for 20 days for not following the order to bring the rescued people to Sicily. This is yet another hypocritical reason being sought to stop a civilian rescue ship from doing life-saving work.

We demand the immediate release of the Louise Michel and an end to the blocking of civilian rescue ships. The Piantedosi Decree, on the basis of which the detentions are taking place, must finally be abolished! Free the ships!
