I don't understand the story personally. I thought flying the flag upside down was a well known symbol of distress. I marched to protest Trump in 2019 and someone was flying the American flag upside down on the march.

Not saying your wrong about the media generally though. The Appeal to Heaven flag is a much bigger deal to me.
