I'd like to offer my personal reason for wanting to move (states not country) I'm just starting to transition, my spouse has been for a few years and we have a kid. There's no community to be built here simply because the population is too small (42 in the town) That's probably an edge case

My spouse can't drive and the nearest even Walmart is 25 miles out. Even this kind of move is financially impossible for us right now. We both want to be part of and grow a community but we're not on a place that it would really be plausible

Your situation is different. And honestly, if you fear for your life or existence and need to leave the country, that's different too. That's called being a refugee. We're angry at the people who should be protecting and helping you but are like "LOL I'm well enough off to just leave BYE".
