This is why I gained an enormous amount of skepticism about the news media - every time an article or broadcast talks about something I have personal knowledge of, they get easy stuff wrong. Like, they say X happened on Tuesday and I was *there* and it was actually a Monday, except in Kirabati.

It's almost fun trying to predict which easily verifiable facts they'll mess up, because you think it'll be like misspelling a famous person's somewhat difficult name but then they put the event two states over when that town name only exists in two states, neither being the state they named.
