Europe is turning towards fascism and it scares the living shit out of me. I've spent a great deal of time reading neo nazi and fascist literature, listening to their speeches, their music and analyzing them. I know what they're like. They're violent oppressors who cannot be redeemed.

It does not however surprise me. Fascism speaks to the lowest common denominator and the very human instinct that wants safety, stability and collective strength. And in times of crisis that's what people crave. With wars, Covid and economic instability the flames are all too easy to fan.
