Weirdly enough there are a few hemoglobin-related conditions where the treatment actually is bloodletting Though usually you're just asked to donate blood every few months

Yep. High iron. Fastest way to deal with it. Should be done by phlebotomist with modern understanding of disease theory and sterilization, rather than a humor-believer 1800 years ago.
