Kings, like Henry VIII accused people they did not like of "treason" so that he could have them killed. Treason was whatever the king said it was. Another example of the past as prologue.

Yes. If they are okay with a noose for Mike Pence, pipe bombs by the party offices, mobs searching for Nancy Pelosi.. and they are calling Liz Cheney a traitor, and fantasizing about military tribunals, we should most definitely be talking about that in the context of this SCOTUS ruling.
