Where I live the traditional time for fireworks is Halloween. Until I grew up and moved away I thought it was universal. It's a combination of living in a forest that's tinder dry in summer and the traditions of the large Chinese community here 100 years ago that introduced fireworks to the region.

interesting! here in Boston, it’s the Fourth of July and New Year’s Eve and Lunar New Year—🤞🏻that the fireworks enthusiasts don’t add Halloween to our rotation as well I can see why summertime fireworks might not be popular in a vulnerable forest…
