To me, It's not about sympathy for the senators. It's two things -- it's bad for SC, there's no one left to stand up for them on abortion (the fight is never over). And two, it's such a clear message from the part to toe the line on the issue. No one else will dare speak out.

This is how I feel. They eliminate any spark of alternative thinking, (a woman's POV), and questioning their extremism gets them smeared as they're booted out the door. It's "do it our way or the Highway" in S.C. Folks are still afraid to vote and that's just the way the GOP likes it.
