I think one of the rhetorical tactics that’s been consistently used to defend the US here has been the implication that because there’s no magical fix-everything button, the US has no choice other than to continue writing Bibi blank checks and running interference at the UN.

Liberals are all about nuance until you suggest that there’s a correlation between the number of dollars we give Bibi and the number of dead Palestinian children in Gaza, then suddenly everything’s a binary.
