Snake oil wasn’t useless actually! Genuine Chinese water snake oil was a great source of omega3s, however it was super easy to counterfeit. I say this cuz I like the snake oil/AI comparison because a very tiny percentage of it is legitimately useful, but the vast majority is fraudulent cashgrabbing
