Especially at the start… people want low effort but big returns. That’s why people make 3 posts, leave, come back a month later and are like ‘oops i forgot this place existed, haha it’s so dead’. It’s tiring, but if you don’t interact, it only fulfills the expectation there’s no use being here.

I'm digging through my old art to find something to post 😅 But I enjoy commenting and replying to people here more than on Twitter especially for that reason: I know one comment can make a difference for the OP (and also we're less here than on Twitter so it feels more "social" to me? idk)
