When I put a test strip in my glucose meter, many times it just turns off. It's like a coin flip, and I have to keep removing and replacing the strip until it works. Sometimes I punch it and I think that helps. This is probably related to the time I spilled coffee on it.

Also sometimes when I charge it it thinks I've hooked it up to a computer. Probably also related to giving it a little sippy sip. When I'm done with a test strip I always suck the blood back out of it. My blood, my treat. (Though I'm willing to share if someone asks; no one ever has)
