It brings me no pleasure (that’s a lie) to report that bar-based turtle racing is a real thing! It’s still happening at Brennan’s in Marina Del Ray and it’s just as gross as you might think.

When we were kids we went on vacation in Minnesota one summer and they actually had turtle races similar to this! I remember loving it for whatever it's worth.
