my Astra is also miserable rn, she is so apprehensive to go outside to pee and keeps checking in with me and as soon as i turn around she bolts toward our front door

Oh no, that poor baby! Mine needs to go out, too, but the problem is much the same: Outside is loud and reeks of explosives. I hope your neighborhood (& mine) calms down soon.
