The thing that helped me calibrate my relationship with reading Thom Hogan was getting my photos splashed across a magazine spread using whatever camera and lens combo I had ready to hand at the time.

Further, I’d go to industry events and see other writers who were penning articles or working on books,and they had Nikon D3xxx/D5xxx or Canon Rebel kit from Best Buy and I’m sitting here with a 1D or 5D and a few G’s worth of L glass… and we’re all getting paid the same for our articles…
