Tried Niantic's new MH game and just hated it. I have to be a human, and kill AWESOME looking dinosaurs with a sword?? That's the last thing I'd want to do in a fantasy world that has cool dinosaurs in it. Who likes this. Who's fantasy is this.

I feel you there- such is the thematic frustration one can feel with the Monster Hunter series ^^;. I appreciate the massive effort that goes into the ecological worldbuilding and immersion you can feel in watching the monsters do their thing, but it always comes down to the endless grind for gear.
