THIS! This is what infuriated me in 2016. Donald Trump, a man who was being mocked in the newspaper comics somehow got to be goddamn president! And the people who wanted to pretend it was /my fault/ for being upset and daring to judge the people who supported him.

Honestly that's why I don't bother with online politics anymore. There's no debate to be had. It's not a real discussion. If people are actually willing to entertain the idea of someone so staggeringly unqualified as /him/ and the people who follow him? Then there's no point, no common ground.
