I had something similar happen to me. A coworker was complaining about millennials. She was born in ‘88. I got to ruin her day by explaining to her that she was in fact a millennial.

Same thing with my guy. He looked younger than me so I asked his age. When I pointed this out he said "yeah well, you know" just shrugged it off. I don't understand that last bit the most to this day. Was saying he's one of the good ones? Or was he Sam Beckett getting his bearings?
