Here’s the post in which I do a close text study of the Southern Baptist Convention’s abortion resolutions, 1971-2009. You see not only the shift in what they preach, but how they preach it—and why. Once, SBC said abortion was a “purely private matter between a woman and her doctor.” Go figure.
