JJ Abrams may have skill and talent, but he has ZERO respect for exiting IPs. He pulled is BS with Star Trek as well, and basically ruined my enjoyment of it. Rian Johnson at least tried to right that ship, and IMO did a fairly good job of it. It felt like an apology for what JJ did.
