Nah, I meant: In a functioning democratic system, people shouldn’t need to know these people and shouldn’t have to keep up with this shit. Obviously, that is not the situation in which we find ourselves.

I assumed that was your point, but thought it darkly funny that most Americans don't, in fact, know who they are. Your expletive is accurate. Contrast especially the speed and ignoring plain text of the Colorado ballot case with the delay and inventing immunity from nothing in today's ruling.
