….reputation that goes back to the mid-90s at least. I have no doubt that even if these particular accusations got broken by fucking TERFs, there is probably some truth there. Is he still a great writer? He is. He’s written some amazing work and I’ve been a fan since Black Orchid. But. 5/

But I don’t know how I feel now. I feel like so much of what he’s written has been tainted. Sage has already pointed out that “Calliope,” a Sandman issue I always found powerful in its use of folktale tropes, is painfully close to a plain old SA story, and she’s absolutely right. 6/
